Netflix announced in July a plan to split the company in two AND raise prices.  DVD’s would be shipped via “Qwikster” while digital streaming would be done via Netflix.  So if you wanted to find a particular movie you would have to check both sites.  Outrage ensued and they almost immediately lost more than a million subscribers (myself included).  More than just outrage, Netflix lost two-thirds of its stock price as a result prompting them to say in classic Rosanne Rosanadanna fashion “Oops, never mind, that’s different.”
