Not too long ago I read an article about how some companies have determined that they would save a lot of money by getting out of the hardware business. They do this by putting most of their services in the cloud then giving their employees a stipend to buy whatever computer they want as long as it can reach the internet.  This way the company does not have money locked up in depreciating computer boxes that require updates and software and maintenance and repair and expensive upgrade plans.  It seems like you just buy new computers for everyone and you have to begin planning on the next round.  In this model, your computer goes down, you fix it from your stipend; interesting idea.

Google is about to take that idea a step further.  What if you didn’t have to worry about your own computer?  What if someone else would just replace it and all your work was stored in the cloud or on flash drives?  This could be a huge change in the business model and open new opportunities.  Laptop Rental
